- Set up my personal wiki / website and put some barebones introductions in it
- Fix the Nespresso machine and make a flat white in the morning
- Fill my expenses into Bread, the budgeting app I’m using
Three things that must be done this week:
- Discovered the idea of ‘writing columns about your own life’ from a stray Substack post and lowkey love the idea — this is something I’d likely try here.
- Had four nights this week where I was able to write/code this website up. Very happy! Published two posts in addition to this website.
- Found out that NewMicrosoftWordDocument.com only costs about $18 per year. Tempted…
- Made With Trends by Google Trends is very cool.
- I realise that when I want to start doing weekly round ups, I start noticing things better.
- “Choosing what you LIKE as a career, not what you LOVE.” - from the heart2hearts podcast about [topic]
- Lowkey want to The Joy of Missing Out by Chloe Shih and Eric Way to return. I love that show.
- Discovered recently that the ATO has a page dedicated to fish and chips shops.
- It’s spring in Sydney. You can tell because I am feeling sick and feverish and there was a pollen storm in the city.
- “To take advantage of luck, you must be informed.” - some dude from a comment section
- I’ve wanted to make a quiz app. Maybe I can cook one up via this website. Tentative titles: What type of chicken dish are you? What potato dish are you? What’s your brodiac (gamer bro, finance bro, strava bro, etc.)?
- “Visualisation is a human activity.” - An interesting quote from this Obsidian-powered page when I was searching about digital gardens, regarding EDAV
- Been having a lot of fancy sandwiches recently and may want to start putting my opinions on Google Review, or maybe they can start here with links in Google Review! Recent tries: Delisia at Forest Lodge, Bottega at Manly, A.P. Bakery at Surry Hills
